steadily, scandal after scandal blights the churches. The only religions gaining
members are those that are actively trying to return us to the dark ages.
The good old Church of England is busy trying to convert the Heathens and Pagans
to replace falling numbers.
The C of E also recently offered an apology for decades of child abuse carried out
by its clergy.
The Irish state earlier this year issued an apology for the thousands of girls and
women who were treated as slaves by the Roman Catholic church in the
Magdalene Laundries.
Cases of Child Abuse by the Catholic church have been far too many to mention over
the years.
The Church of England recently voted, after years of consideration, to draft a new law
to allow women to become Bishops. Please note, they have not decided that women
can become Bishops, they decided to propose bringing in a draft of a new law for the
synod to consider that could possibly allow women to become Bishops at some point
in the future.
Speaking of women, you only have to walk the streets of our cities to see women who
are suffering under the oppression of religion. Well really you cannot see them due to
the veils, the scarves’ and the full robes. But they wear them by choice comes the cry.
Oh yes and the fact that around the world women are flogged, stoned to death, beaten,
murdered, raped and abused because they “Choose” not to hide their faces has nothing
to do with how freely they hide themselves.
Let us not forget these as examples of the vast number of other cases:
Prisoners face death threats for cooking or eating pork in communal kitchen.
Boy beaten for doing badly in class at religious school.
Paedophile gangs grooming hundreds of young girls for sex, mixed ethnic backgrounds,
all share one religion.
Posters put up in London, Gay free zone.
This is just a sample of the behaviour that is all to often tolerated or ignored in the name of
Religion here in the UK. The rest of the world is far more brutal.
Woman dies in Ireland after being denied an abortion. Doctors confirmed she had suffered a
miscarriage but refused to allow an abortion.
Norwegian woman raped in Dubai sent to jail for sex outside marriage. This is not the first t
ime this has happened in Dubai, a “Moderate” Islamic country.
Iranian woman stoned to death for adultery.
Young man executed in Syria for joke about Mohamed.
Iran hangs gays. Saudi hangs gays. Islamic countries condemn Gays to death.
Christian Priest executed by Jihadists, children bought out to watch.
Apostates in fear of their lives, Atheists under sentence of death. Beaten for an Emo
hairstyle. Honour killings, beheadings, torturing. Churches bombed and burned down.
Worshippers attacking after services. Priests murdered. Monks need armed guards to
prevent attacks. Holy sites and statues thousands of years old destroyed. Schools
destroyed, students and teachers attacked and murdered. Western doctors and nurses
murdered. Aid workers attacked. Women kidnapped, raped, forced to convert and married to
rapists.
Many of the faiths and belief systems worldwide that are pagan, heathen or spiritualist are
inward looking, they do not seek to force their beliefs on others.
It is the religions of the book that bring us Tyranny and oppression. First Christianity and then
Islam have sought and still seek to crush freedom and choice, to force a belief system and
rules of conduct on those who want no part of a theocracy.
What charitable acts are carried out by a religion that are not done equally well by secular
organisations?
What morals or ethics come exclusively from religion and not from the hearts of good and
decent people?
In the twenty first century what place is there for those who follow the words and deeds of
men many hundreds of years dead and whose world view was shaped by Barbarians, Savages
and the total lack of freedom or civilisation?
